Founded by Roger Beaudry, a bassist in the band Lesser Known, the company began with a DIY ethic, pressing its own records and producing independent shows. As the band’s reputation grew, so did its ambitions. The label evolved into a full-fledged entertainment company, dedicated to supporting independent artists and building creative ventures aligned with community values.

Our Story
LKE Entertainment Group Inc. was born from a band, a dream, and a work ethic forged in sweat and steel. Founded in 1997 to support the sophomore album release, “Inner Beast” for the band Lesser Known. LKE began as an independent record label out of the necessity and passion. Today, it stands poised to become a global, values-driven entertainment company built on principles of respect, fairness, and pro-Labour solidarity. Our launch begins with Lesser Known as the flagship artist, followed closely by the rollout of LKE Entertainment Group Inc. of companies; Rhythm Records, Encore Card Company, Lotus Petal Gaming and a media division centered on organized Labour. Each division of LKE will reflect our core belief: all workers deserve respect, fair treatment, and the dignity of representation. Our partnerships, vendors, and collaborators are selected based on their commitment to organized labour and ethical practices. We will refuse to work with companies or individuals who undermine those values, regardless of cost. Backed by a Board of Directors made up of family, industry professionals, and lifelong allies, LKE is uniquely positioned to grow into a multi-venture powerhouse, from music and media to gaming, health, and motorsports; all while keeping its foundation grounded in the labour movement.
